Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar
Sweet potatoes are made just a little bit sweeter thanks to the addition of butter and brown sugar.

- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- Cook the sweet potatoes in boiling, salted water until tender, about 20 minutes. Drain and return to the pan.
- In a small pan, heat the milk and butter. Add to the potatoes along with the brown sugar. Mash by hand or whip with an electric mixer.
