Meatball Sandwich for One
For a heartier sandwich, add 2 or 3 slices of provolone or cooked ham. If necessary, plain tomato sauce can be substituted for the pasta or spaghetti sauce.

- 1 sub roll (12")
- 3 Tbsp. marinara sauce
- 2 oz. mozzarella cheese
- 5 frozen Italian meatballs, thawed
- Cut the sub roll in half. Spread the sauce on both halves.
- Place the mozzarella cheese on one half. Place the meatballs on the other half and close the sandwich.
- Heat the sandwich briefly in the oven, toaster oven, or microwave. To microwave, place the sandwich on a paper towel and cook for 2 minutes, until the meatballs and sauce are heated through and the cheese is melted.
