Mexican Avocado Dip

Better known as guacamole, this pure and simple version of avocado dip is the best way to enjoy the avocado in all its naked glory. Stir in a little tomato salsa for more depth.

Ingredients

  • 2 soft-ripe avocados
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 firm-ripe avocados
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  • Cut soft-ripe avocados in half, remove seed and scoop out the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a potato masher or fork. Stir in garlic.
  • Cut firm-ripe avocados in half, remove seed and scoop out the flesh, dice it and combine with lemon juice. Add to mashed avocado and mix together.
  • Season with salt.
