Microwave Green Beans
The trick to this recipe is making sure the green beans are covered with the broth. This recipe also works well with fresh snow peas—be sure to trim the ends before cooking. You can toss the green beans with a bit of butter or soy sauce if you like.

- 3½ oz. fresh green beans
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled and cut in half
- ⅓ cup gluten-free chicken broth
- Rinse the green beans under cold, running water. Drain and pat dry.
- Place the green beans and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with the chicken broth. Cook on high heat for 1½–2 minutes or until they are crisp and bright green.
