Mint-Cilantro Chutney (Pudine Dhaniye Ke Chutney)

Use this as a dipping sauce, salad dressing, or as a topping for grilled meats or seafood.

  • 1 packed cup cilantro
  • ½ packed cup mint
  • 2 serrano green chilies, roughly chopped
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves
  • ⅛ tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice


  • Blend all the ingredients in a food processor to a smooth paste. To aid in the blending process, you can add 1 tablespoon of water if needed. Chill for about 30 minutes. Serve as a dipping sauce. This chutney will keep, refrigerated, for 4 days.
