Minty Yogurt Drink (Pudine Ki Lassi)
Indian yogurt drinks, lassis, are made with yogurt, water, and spices, and sometimes fruit. They can be sweet or savory. This sweet lassi, made with mint, is very refreshing.

- ½” piece ginger, grated
- ¼ tsp. cumin seeds, roasted and roughly pounded
- 2 tsp. minced fresh mint
- ¼ tsp. black salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cup water
- 6–8 ice cubes
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender; blend well. Add more water if you like a thinner consistency. Serve immediately.
