This refreshing rum drink is made with fresh lime juice and mint leaves. It is the perfect drink for Cuban and “Floribbean” food.

  • 6 large mint leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 3 oz. light rum
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 oz. club soda
  • 4 thin lime slices
  • 1 small mint sprig


  • Place the mint leaves, lime juice, rum, and sugar in the bottom of a cocktail shaker and bruise the mint leaves with a muddler. Add ice and shake well.
  • Pour into tall glasses filled with ice and top off with club soda.
  • Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs.
