Murray’s Gouda Grits

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup polenta or medium ground cornmeal
  • 1 cup Murray’s Estate Gouda, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon pepper


  • In sauce pan, bring water and salt to boil. Lower heat slightly and whisk in polenta or cornmeal. Continue whisking until mixture thickens.
  • Incorporate Gouda, heavy cream or milk and pepper. If needed, add water to thin out till desired thickness is achieved.
