Mushroom Gravy

Serve this over grilled chicken breasts with rice pilaf.

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper


  • In a skillet, sauté mushrooms in butter until they start to brown. Sprinkle mushrooms with flour and cook them over medium heat for a few minutes.
  • Add chicken broth, whisk until smooth, and simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
