- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. ground black pepper
- In a skillet, sauté mushrooms in butter until they start to brown. Sprinkle mushrooms with flour and cook them over medium heat for a few minutes.
- Add chicken broth, whisk until smooth, and simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
