This sweet bread, called something different in every family, makes a great breakfast or snack. You can substitute other nuts for walnuts, if you prefer.

- 2 cups honey
- 3 large eggs
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1⁄2 cup whole milk
- 1⁄4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Preheat the oven to 275°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients. Cover the dough with plastic wrap or a clean towel and allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
- Form the dough into small oval loaves and place on the greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour. Let cool before serving.
