No-Work Ham and Bean Soup
Refried beans and cooked ham provide the flavor in this easy-to-make dish—all you need to do is chop the ham. Feel free to thin or thicken the soup by increasing or decreasing the amount of ham and refried beans as desired.

- ¾ cup chopped cooked ham
- ¾ cup refried beans
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (16 oz.) mixed beans, drained
- Combine the ham, refried beans, tomato paste, chicken broth, water, and beans in a medium-sized saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Simmer briefly. Remove from heat. Serve hot.
