Nuoc Cham Sauce

Nuoc cham is a common Vietnamese dipping sauce that is primarily made of fish sauce, sugar, and lime juice. This dipping sauce pairs well with egg rolls or spring rolls.

  • ½ cup fish sauce
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ cup warm water
  • 1 Thai chili, thinly sliced


  • Combine fish sauce, sugar, lime juice, and water. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Stir in chilies. Use immediately or refrigerate in a covered container for up to 2 weeks.
