Nutella Ice Cream

Nutella has been a favorite for years in Europe and is now popular in the United States. Use this hazelnut and chocolate spread to make your own gianduja-like ice cream.

  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 3⁄4 cup sugar
  • 1 3⁄4 cups half and half
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract


  • Combine all ingredients in the food processor, and purée until very smooth. Chill in refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours, or overnight.
  • Once chilled, add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
