Nuts for Chocolate Smoothie
Even some of the most dedicated vegans have a soft spot for chocolate. This recipe allows you to create your own thrifty, quick, and easy chocolate smoothies at home.

- ¼ cup almonds
- 1 cup vanilla almond milk
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 medium banana, peeled
- 1 Tbsp. agave nectar
- Combine almonds and ½ cup almond milk in a blender and blend until almonds are completely emulsified.
- Add cocoa, followed by the lettuce, banana, nectar, and remaining almond milk while blending until desired texture is achieved.
