Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oatmeal is a great source of vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It is also reputed to be a natural antidepressant. These cookies are a great way to sneak some oatmeal into your diet.

- 1 box (18 oz.) box yellow cake mix
- 2⁄3 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine cake mix, oats, margarine, and egg in a bowl and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove warm cookies from sheet and allow to cool on a wire rack.
