Oktoberfest Bratwurst

This delicious classic summer pairing is perfect for an evening out by the grill.

  • 1 package (19 oz.) Johnsonville® Beer 'n Bratwurst Brats
  • 4 bratwurst buns
  • 1⁄2 cup Shredded Sauerkraut
  • 1⁄4 cup Private Selection™ Whole Grain Garlic Mustard
  • 2 cups Private Selection™ Smoked Gouda & Garlic Ripple-Cut Kettle Chips
  • 4 cans (12 oz.) Samuel Adams® Octoberfest beer


  • Heat grill to medium-low heat.
  • Place brats on the grill and cook for 20 minutes, turning often. Cook until an internal temperature reaches 160ºF.
  • Once brats are fully cooked, place each in a bun and top with 2 tablespoons of sauerkraut and 1 tablespoon of mustard on each brat.
  • Serve with ½ cup of chips and 1 can of beer for each person.
  • Refrigerate leftovers.
