Orange Cranberry Sorbet
This sorbet is for grownups! To make it for kids, simply omit the orange liqueur. The sorbet will freeze harder without it.

- 1½ cups orange juice
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. orange zest
- 2 Tbsp. orange liqueur
- In medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of the orange juice with the sugar over medium heat. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves completely, about 3 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in remaining orange juice, cranberry juice, and orange zest. Then blend in orange liqueur (if using).
- Pour mixture into a freezer-proof bowl and place in freezer. Freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
- Remove from freezer and beat with electric beater until smooth. Return to freezer and repeat process. Transfer sorbet to a freezer container and freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.
