Orange Honey–Glazed Ham

Using the slow cooker makes cooking ham super easy, and the homemade orange honey glaze is a breeze to mix up. If you like a shiny glaze on your ham, finish it off in a 350°F oven for 15–20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in gluten-free ham (4 lbs.)
  • ½ cup seltzer water
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1–2 Tbsp. orange zest
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon

Directions

  • Place ham, seltzer water, and orange juice in a greased 4–6-quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • In a small bowl mix together honey, orange zest, ground cloves, and cinnamon. Spread over ham. Cook for an additional 45 minutes, venting the slow cooker lid with a chopstick or spoon handle. The ham should become golden brown and glazed.
