Orange-Vanilla Smoothie

This smoothie can be varied in so many ways. Use pineapple yogurt, pineapple nectar, and crushed pineapple instead of the orange; use your imagination!

  • 1 1⁄2 cups low-fat orange-flavored yogurt
  • 1⁄2 cup orange juice
  • 1 large orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1⁄4 cup vanilla-flavored whey protein
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 ice cubes


  • Place yogurt, orange juice, orange, whey protein, and vanilla in blender or food processor; blend or process until smooth. Add ice cubes; blend or process until thick. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
