Oven-Fried Chicken Nuggets

These nuggets are not deep-fried but baked in the oven instead. They are still crunchy, and less oily. Serve these with dipping sauces such as honey, barbecue sauce, honey mustard, ranch dressing, and ketchup.

Ingredients

  • 8 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 3 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut in chunks

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
  • Melt butter and mix it with the mustard. Set aside. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Toss chicken chunks in the butter mixture; then roll them around in the crumb mixture. Arrange the coated chicken chunks on the foil and bake for 1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature.
