Breaded and pan-fried fish is a wonderful way to get your children to try fish. Always attempt mild fish such as tilapia, mahi-mahi, or swordfish first.

- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ⅛ tsp. garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp. salt
- ⅛ tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 4 tilapia fillets
- Heat oil in skillet over low heat.
- Mix flour with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dip fish fillet in egg, and then flour mixture.
- Pan-fry until golden brown, 5–6 minutes on each side, turning once. Serve hot.
