Party Sausage Bites

For a different kick, try adding a few teaspoons of horseradish to the sauce, or try substituting sweet sausages.

  • 2 packages (12 oz. each) Andouille sausages
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg


  • Cut each sausage diagonally into 4 segments. Place sausages in a 4-quart slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, and horseradish; pour over sausages. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. To serve, arrange on serving platter with decorative toothpicks. Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.
