Party Sausage Bites
For a different kick, try adding a few teaspoons of horseradish to the sauce, or try substituting sweet sausages.

- 2 packages (12 oz. each) Andouille sausages
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- Cut each sausage diagonally into 4 segments. Place sausages in a 4-quart slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, ketchup, and horseradish; pour over sausages. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. To serve, arrange on serving platter with decorative toothpicks. Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.
