Peanut Butter Brownies

This recipe makes a large batch of rich brownies. The number of pieces you get depends on the size of the brownies you cut!

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1⁄4 tsp. salt
  • 1⁄2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1⁄4 cups peanut butter
  • 1 square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 1⁄4 cup cocoa
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar


  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a large baking dish with nonstick baking spray containing flour and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • In large saucepan, combine butter, peanut butter, and unsweetened chocolate. Stir over medium heat until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa; beat well. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture and spread into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or just until brownies are set. Do not over bake. Let brownies cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar.
