Perfect Grilled Cheese

Ready in just 10 minutes, this version of grilled cheese uses mayo, cheddar and Havarti for a flavor that can’t be beat. Whip it up for your hungry teens, serve it as an easy lunch or enjoy as a satisfying dinner, paired with your favorite soup.

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 slices Havarti cheese
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese


  • Heat skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Between two slices of bread, sandwich 1 slice Havarti and 1 slice cheddar. Repeat with remaining cheese and bread.
  • Brush outside of each sandwich with mayonnaise. Place on hot skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes, until lightly browned. Flip; continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes, until browned and cheese is melted.
  • Serve and refrigerate leftovers.
