Pumpkin Seed Tea
Although it’s traditionally served over ice, this tea also is excellent served warm with cookies or cake.

- 2 cups pumpkin seeds
- 1 key lime
- 8 cups water
- 1⁄2 cup honey
- Put the pumpkin seeds in a food processor or blender and grind until you have a coarse powder.
- Cut the lime into 1⁄4-inch rounds.
- Put the water, lime, and pumpkin seeds in a covered glass jar and store in a warm place for 12 hours.
- Strain the water and discard the pumpkin seed mash as well as the lime pieces. Stir in the honey.
