Puréed Butternut Squash
Smooth and creamy butternut squash makes an ideal side to any meal. Have fun playing with spices, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom to give the recipe a little extra flavor.

- 3 cups butternut squash, peeled and cubed
- 1⁄4 cup water
- Place the squash in a 4-quart slow cooker, add water, cover, and cook on high for 3 hours.
- Use a blender or food processor to purée until smooth.
