Puréed Carrots

Puréed carrots make a soothing side dish or can be used to thicken a soup or sauce.

  • 12 oz. carrots, peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup water


  • Place the carrots in a 4-quart slow cooker, add water, cover, and cook on high for 3 hours.
  • Use a blender or food processor to purée until smooth.
