Puréed Sweet Potatoes
Turnips or winter squash could also be used here in place of the sweet potatoes.

- 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes
- ¾ cup water
- Place the sweet potatoes in a 4-quart slow cooker, add water, cover, and cook on high for 3 hours.
- Use a blender or food processor to purée until smooth.
