Quick Green Beans Amandine
Feel free to use your favorite brand of soy sauce in this recipe, and to substitute toasted sesame seeds or walnuts for the almonds if desired.

- 2 cups canned French-cut green beans
- 2 tsp. butter
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. slivered almonds
- Heat the green beans to a boil in a small saucepan on medium heat. Use a strainer to drain the juice from the beans. Place the beans in a bowl or return them to the saucepan.
- Immediately stir in the butter and the soy sauce. Garnish with the slivered almonds. Serve immediately.
