Raw Sesame Seed Gravy

This is a delicious sauce to serve over cauliflower “rice” or other vegetarian dishes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup black sesame seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. finely minced white onion
  • 1 Tbsp. nama shoyu
  • 1 cup chopped portobello mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ cup water

Directions

  • Grind the sesame seeds into a powder with a coffee grinder or spice mill.
  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Slowly pour in water until desired consistency is reached.
