Red and Blue Berry Smoothie

Chilling the banana firms it up, adding more frothy texture to the smoothie. If available, use a frozen mixed-berry blend.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup milk
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. granola

Directions

  • Peel the banana and freeze for 15 minutes. Chop into a few pieces. Put the banana, berries, milk, and cinnamon into a blender. Process until liquefied.
  • Add the ice cubes and process again. Pour the smoothie into a large drinking glass and sprinkle the granola on top.
