Rice Cooker Pasta
The use of salt when boiling pasta enhances the flavor of the pasta. The recommendation is about a tablespoon of salt per gallon of boiling water.

- 8 cups water
- 1⁄2 lb. pasta
- 2 tsp. salt
- Add the water to the rice cooker, cover, and set to Cook. When the water boils, lift up the rice cooker lid, add the pasta and salt, and stir the pasta gently to prevent pasta sticking to the base of the pot.
- Cover the rice cooker and allow pasta to cook for about 10 minutes, until al dente or done to your taste. Drain and serve.
