Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan

If you like your broccoli slightly charred, broil it for a few minutes before you take it out of the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces and put onto a foil-lined baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil on top of broccoli, add garlic, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat.
  • Spread out in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes, or until broccoli is tender. Add Parmesan cheese and bake for 5 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.
