Roasted Garlic and Red Pepper Hummus

Use sweet potato chips to dip for an extra treat!

  • 2 cloves roasted garlic
  • 2 cups cooked (without salt or fat) chickpeas, drained
  • 1⁄3 cup tahini
  • 1⁄3 cup lemon juice
  • 1⁄2 cup chopped roasted red peppers
  • 1⁄4 tsp. dried basil


  • In a food processor, combine the roasted garlic, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, roasted red peppers, and basil. Process until the mixture is smooth.
  • Transfer to a covered bowl and chill until ready to serve.
