Roasted Garlic Served on Crostini
There are countless variations of this classic recipe. The garlic and olive oil will keep inflammation at bay and tantalize your taste buds. You can also try adding herbs such as parsley, thyme, sage, or rosemary to “wow” your guests.

Ingredients
- 1 head garlic
- 2 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
- ½ loaf baguette
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cut off the top quarter of the garlic bulb. Rub both cut sides of garlic with olive oil, then place the top back on the bulb and wrap in foil. Place in the oven and bake until the cloves are fork tender, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- While the garlic cooks, slice the baguette thinly on the bias. Brush with the oil and place on a baking sheet. Toast until light brown.
- Serve the bulb intact on a platter surrounded by crostini.
