Roasting Hatch Green Chiles

Once Hatch green chiles are roasted, they can be frozen for later use in soups, salads or salsas!

Ingredients
- 8 Hatch chile peppers
Directions
- Place oven rack to highest setting and preheat oven to broil. Prepare a baking sheet pan with aluminum foil.
- Place chiles on prepared pan and broil 10-12 minutes, until skin is blackened.
- Immediately place chiles in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to sit 20 minutes.
- One by one, remove chiles from bag and gently peel away black charred skin.
- Peel skin off chiles and slice open to remove seeds.
- Add to your favorite recipe or store in the freezer.
