Saffron Yogurt Pudding (Kesari Shrikhand)

This very traditional West Indian dessert is generally made with saffron or mango, but you can also use strawberry and kiwi for a wonderful twist.

  • 2 cups hung yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • ¼ tsp. toasted saffron
  • ¼ cup sugar


  • Place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. You can do this with a spatula or a handheld blender. Adjust sugar to taste. Chill for about 30 minutes, then serve.
