Salted Caramel Fondue
Make this creamy, sweet caramel fondue with a satisfying touch of saltiness in a saucepan. Transfer it to a fondue pot and keep it warm. Serve with apple slices, sliced bananas, and cubes of pound cake.

- 1 cup heavy cream, divided
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄8 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 tsp. coarse salt
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine 1⁄2 cup cream, sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes, or until the temperature reaches 234˚F. Cool for about 10 minutes. Stir in remaining 1⁄2 cup cream. Return to a boil over medium heat. Off heat, stir in vanilla.
- Transfer to a fondue pot and serve immediately.
