Lemons are not widely used in Thai cuisine. You can make this drink into a slushie by adding ice and a little more simple syrup and blending in the blender.

- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups lime juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the mixture to simmer and turn off the heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Let cool.
- Stir in lime juice and salt. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
