Sauteed Asparagus with Shallots and Lime
Shallots and lime are the perfect complement to fresh spring asparagus.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 bunch asparagus, fresh, trimmed
- sea salt and freshly cracked pepper
- 1⁄2 lime, juiced
Directions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shallots and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add asparagus spears. Cover and cook until tender, about 4 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper. Just before serving, squeeze lime over the top.
