Shrimp Butter for Hors d’Oeuvres
This is a very simple spread for crackers. You can also use it for elegant tea sandwiches. Just make sure that the bread or crackers are sugar-free!

- 4 oz. cooked shrimp
- 2 oz. unsalted butter at room temperature
- 2 Tbsp. low-fat sugar-free mayonnaise
- Juice from 1 lime
- ½ tsp. Splenda
- ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp. dill weed
- Purée all ingredients in a food processor, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. When smooth, transfer to a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
