Shrimp Cocktail

Shrimp is a flavorful, low-fat shellfish that is a nice addition to the Paleolithic lifestyle.

  • 6 Tbsp. grated horseradish root
  • 1 Tbsp. raw honey
  • 1 can (6 oz.) organic, no-salt-added tomato paste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1⁄2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb. jumbo cooked shrimp, peeled


  • In a small bowl, blend the horseradish, honey, tomato paste, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately with jumbo shrimp.
