Simple Baked Pears

  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 6 pears, peeled and cored
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar


  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • In a 2-quart baking dish, combine the lemon juice and enough water to cover the bottom. Add the pears, cover, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender.
  • Remove from the oven. Uncover and sprinkle pears with sugar. Bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes longer to glaze. Serve warm or chilled.
