Simple Fried Mushrooms
Juicy when heated, cooked mushrooms don’t require any extra seasoning. These mushrooms go especially well with beef.

- 30 mushrooms
- 4½ cups vegetable oil, or as needed
- ¼ cup fresh parsley
- Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth. Heat the oil in a large pot set over medium-high heat, making sure it is not more than half full. Use a skewer or fork to cook the mushroom in the hot oil until golden. Drain on paper towels or a tempura rack. Serve with fresh parsley.
