Slow-Cooked Pork Shoulder

Ingredients

  • 1 pork shoulder (4-5 lbs.)
  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bottle (12 oz.) dark beer
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine all the ingredients in an ovenproof pot with a tight lid. Cover, and bake for 3½ hours or until the pork falls apart when touched.
