Slow-Cooked Turkey Kielbasa and Cabbage

If you’re using reduced-sodium broth, start out with about 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper. If the broth is not reduced-sodium, skip the salt altogether and taste for seasoning before serving.

  • 1 lb. small red potatoes, scrubbed and quartered
  • 1 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced in coins
  • 1 lb. fully cooked turkey kielbasa, sliced
  • ½ tsp. caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 cans (14 oz.) reduced-sodium chicken broth

Directions

  • Place the ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 5 hours.
