Slow Cooker Barbecue Western Ribs
It doesn’t get much better than hands-off barbecue ribs. Add potato chips and coleslaw for a delicious, casual meal.

- 1 cup gluten-free hickory barbecue sauce
- ½ cup orange marmalade
- ½ cup water
- 3 lbs. beef Western ribs
- Add the barbecue sauce, marmalade, and water to greased 6-quart slow cooker. Stir to mix.
- Add the ribs, ladling some of the sauce over the ribs. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- To thicken the sauce, use a slotted spoon to remove the meat and bones; cover and keep warm. Skim any fat from the sauce in the cooker; increase the heat setting to high and cook uncovered for 15 minutes or until the sauce is reduced and coats the back of a spoon.
