Slow-Cooker Breakfast Quinoa with Fruit
You can also add dried fruit to this dish. Experiment with a few different kinds and see which you like best!

- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups water
- ½ packed cup dark brown sugar
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp. ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 cup fresh fruit of your choice
- Stir together all the ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cook for 2½ hours on high or about 4 hours on low, or until the quinoa has absorbed most of the liquid and is light and fluffy. Top with fresh fruit and serve.
