Slow Cooker Chili-Spiced Party Nuts

Whether or not you add salt to this recipe will depend on whether or not the nuts you use are already salted. Store leftovers in a covered container for up to a week or freeze them.

  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 8 cups mixed nuts


  • Add the butter and choice of seasoning to the slow cooker. Stir to combine. Add the nuts and stir to coat them with the seasoning. Cover and cook on high for ½ hour. Stir well. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes. Stir again.
  • Cover, reduce the heat to low, and continue to cook (and occasionally stir) for an additional 1–2 hours or until heated through.
