Slow Cooker Garlic Brisket

Here’s a holiday twist on the popular 40-clove chicken recipe. The flavor of the garlic mellows as it’s slowly cooked, creating an aromatic sweetness that is the perfect compliment to the tender brisket.

  • 3 lbs. beef brisket
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 40 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper


  • Add beef to a 6-quart slow cooker. Coat with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook 6 hours on high.
  • Remove brisket from slow cooker and shred or slice to serve.
